Please share a memory of Concetta M. to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Concetta M. "Connie" (Carciobolo) Boschwitz, 77, of Halfmoon, entered into eternal life Saturday, March 3, 2018.

Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Angeline (Papa) Carciobolo.

Connie may have left us too soon but she lived life to the fullest.  She sang show tunes, danced and acted in theatrical plays, traveled the world, laughed out loud and had an amazing sense of humor.

She was a graduate of Cardinal McCloskey High School in Albany and was a member of St Mary’s Church of Crescent (Clifton Park), NY. Connie was a faculty secretary at Shenendehowa High School and after retirement continued as a receptionist at the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Library. She volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House of Albany and served her community at the annual Thanksgiving Day dinner at Equinox (Albany).

Connie was one of 5 founding members of the original Latham Circle Chorus, started in 1977, which is now known as Capitaland Chorus.  She sang the lead voice part in this women's barbershop chorus and was a member of Sweet Adelines International for over 30 years. She later sang with Saratoga Soundtrack Chorus. She was a much-loved member and sister in harmony, who will be greatly missed.

Connie held a special place in her heart for Shenendehowa High School, Clifton Park-Halfmoon Library, Curtain Call Theater, Cohoes Music Hall, Proctors’ and Mac-Haydn Theaters.

Connie cherished every moment she had with friends who were her biggest fans.

A special thank you to all who were there for her during the difficult times.

In addition to her parents, her brother Louis J. Carciobolo, Sr. and her sister Mary C. DeVoe predeceased her. She is survived by her sister-in-law Theresa M. Carciobolo, niece Margaret A. Carciobolo and nephews Louis J Carciobolo, Jr. and Vincent Carciobolo.

She cherished time shared with her great-nieces and nephews, Nicole (Jim) Pardi, Jessica (Logan) Hoffis, Sarah Carciobolo, Quinten, Dylan, Alivia and Ethan Gavin, great-great niece and nephews; Giavanna and Colton (Pardi) and Grayson (Hoffis), as well as many cousins.
