Dateline: Colonie, New York

Radha Krishnan, 73, of Nottingham Way in Colonie started her journey on Wednesday Jan. 10, 2024 with her family by her side.  She was born in Chennai, India and was educated in the India School System.  She had been a secretary for the Central Railways in Mumbai India.  Radha came to the US in 2018 and was a member of the Albany Hindu Temple. 

She is the beloved wife of Krishnan Muthuswamy whom she married on May 6, 1973.  She is the devoted mother of Chitra Iyer (Kirthivasan Nagarajan) and Gayathri Krishnan (Ravi Swaminathan);  Cherished grandmother of Shriya Iyer, Shravan Swaminathan, Tarun Swaminathan and Sriman Iyer;  She is also survived by her siblings all in India and several nieces and nephews.

The Hindu Ritual was held on the day of her death at 2:00 pm in the Gardner Earl Crematory in Troy.
