It's 1/1/2026
I can't believe it's been 10 months since you left earthside.
You not being here haunts me every day.
I miss you today as much as I did the day you passed.
Nothing has changed with that.
I'm struggling but I'm trying because I know you be sad if I didn't.
I love you so much and wish you didn't have to go.
I continue talking about you and to you daily.
I will never stop doing so because you need to be celebrated even if you aren't here, that's just how special you are.

How does anyone that knew Carol say, goodbye? Carol will be forever nestled in a very large spot in our hearts! What a lady, loyal and loving wife, fantastic mother and grandmother, and a very treasured friend. Carol made us smile, laugh and even cry with her. She was one of a kind and she will never be forgotten by us. We will miss her greatly, and smile knowing she is with the love of her love, Norm. What a very lucky man, family and all her many, many friends. We thank God for bringing her into our lives. God is now blessed by her sitting beside him in paradise. RIP Carol.

Mama Bear… it’s been 17 days
since you left the earth. I’m completely heart broken because you were truly my best friend. As the days go on I see how much you were a part of my everyday life. I miss our calls, our texts and the sound of your voice. You could always brighten my day and you were always there for me, always. I don’t have any regrets how I lived my life with you, I only regret that you were taken to soon. My life is forever changed by your absence. I will find my way but just know the world will never be the same without you, you were an angel on earth.
I’m thankful and so, so lucky you were my mom.

I was so sorry to hear of Carol's passing. Back in the 80s, I visited the old Eagle Bay camp many times and hung out with Craig, who was my college roommate, and the Skowron boys. Carol and Norm treated me like family, and I can't express how peaceful and relaxing life was at the camp. I still think of those days as some of the best of my life! Wishing the Buraks and Skowrons, and the rest of the extended family, my love and deepest condolences.

Carol was a warm, funny, and charming soul. She was a wonderful, caring, and thoughtful friend to my mother, Charlotte. Even though Carol suffered a lot of back pain, she never let it slow her down.
