Theresa M. Nason, 92, of Halfmoon passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. She was born on Dec. 20, 1932 in Edison, NJ and was the daughter of the late James and Catherine Alfus Stegweit. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s Catholic High School, class of 1951. Theresa was the beloved wife of the late John R. Nason, who died on Feb. 17, 2011. A lifelong lover of flowers and nature, she found joy in tending her vibrant garden, where birds often visited, and brought her peace. Her porch, always a welcoming haven, was where she could often be found, surrounded by the company of friends, family, and pets who brought her endless smiles. She cherished her monthly lunch, bridge, and scrabble friends. She had a special gift for making everyone feel at home, offering warmth, kindness, and a listening ear to all who crossed her path.

She is the devoted mother to William (Shawn) Nason of Kill Devil Hills, NC, Lorraine (Christopher) Krochina of Stillwater and the late Diane T. (surviving Raymond) Anuszewski of Halfmoon; Grandmother of Michael (Kristen), Loren (Kristel), Brian (Shannon), Deidre (Josh), Kyle, Shane, & Madison; great grandmother of Clark, Will, Maguire, Kerrigan, Easton, Brooke, & Drew.

Funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.

A calling hour will precede the funeral service from 10-11 am in the funeral home prior to the service.

Interment will be in Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville at 1:00 pm.
