Paul J. Anderson, 88, passed away on February 22, 2025 at Samaritan Hospital with family by his side after his ongoing health battles.

Paul was born on December 31, 1936 in Sanford, Maine. He was the son of Edward and Elise Bean Anderson. He graduated from Monson High School and earned his Bachelor's degree from American University. He was a Business Consultant with George S. May Associates in Chicago, Illinois.  

Paul was a man of few words. Those that surrounded him knew that he would sit quietly and listen to what others had to say. He would give you advice or say a funny one liner. He cherished the time that he had with those around him. Paul was a sports fan of any kind, specifically football and baseball. His favorite teams were the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. Most of all, his favorite to watch were his grandchildren's games and events. In addition to sports, he was an avid cook, specifically making his own tomato sauce and soups. He never failed to make a mess in the kitchen. 

He was predeceased by his wife Carol A. Mandeville Anderson, and their two sons Scott and Eric. His daughter Paula Cowles (Michael); daughter-in-law Kirsten Anderson (Eric); and his four grandchildren Lillian Anderson, 26, Kennedy Cowles, 23, Anderson Cowles, 20, and Payton Cowles, 17 who were a source of joy in his life. Brother of the late Patricia Fountaine and the late Edward Anderson, also survived by several nieces and nephews. 

We are sad to see him go, we know that he is being welcomed home by his wife, sons and beloved pets.

Please join us in celebrating his life on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. where at 11:00 a.m. a Funeral Service will be celebrated.
