Phyllis A. Leggiere Pfeil, 83, of Ballston Lake (Town of Clifton Park) beloved wife for 58 years to Robert Pfeil, entered into eternal life on Friday, April 18, 2025.

Born in Teaneck, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Antoinette Manna Leggiere and was a graduate of Bergenfield High School and Farleigh Dickinson University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree.

Mrs. Pfeil was a retired teacher having taught at the Bergenfield Elementary School in Bergenfield, NJ and had also taught at Warton Elementary School in Warton, NY.

Mrs. Pfeil devoted her life to improve the quality of life for her handicap daughter Karen Pfeil through patterning, cell therapy and nutrition programs.

Beloved wife to Bob, devoted mother of Joanne DuMais and Karen Pfeil, cherished grandmother of Zachary DuMais and Christopher DuMais, dear sister of the late Elaine Marino, cherished aunt to Joe Marino, Elaine Marino and Jeanne Marino.

Relatives and friends are invited to Calling Hours on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to Noon with a service at Noon at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065 and to follow in the Jonesville Cemetery.
