Ruth was so wonderful she lit up a room by just entering into it. Then she sang with the voice of an angel, great pleasure to mingle our voices with hers.
She will be missed but I can still here her beautiful voice in the background when I sing.

“Aunt” Ruth was summer to me. My parents Richard and Loretta Sutter were friends. The highlight of every summer for me was going to stay at The Lake with Uncle Sid and Aunt Ruth. I remember her smile and hug when she greeted us. His laugh. The great summer meals, eaten outside. Learning how to skip rocks. Sitting on the beach talking. Walking down the road, picking flowers. These were sweet summer days.

I sang with Ruth in the soprano section of the Chancel Choir at Brunswick Church. Ruth had a pure, sweet voice even in her senior years - which was an amazing phenomenon by itself! If there is such a thing as "the music of the spheres" it will be that much more glorious as Ruth's voice is added. Great Love has embraced you, Ruth, and we embrace your memory.
