I am deeply saddened to hear this news. Nate was a student of mine his first semester at Castleton. We continued to stay in touch throughout his time there and afterward. He always brought joy to those around him with his infectious smile (and hijinks!). Please accept my deepest condolences.

I only knew Nate for a short time but he had quickly became a very close friend. We would talk daily about baseball and food. He was amazing in the kitchen and was constantly making the most mouth watering meals.
Nate was my encouragement to coach my son's little league team for the first time, and was always there to help me through the phone when I didn't know what I was doing.
I will miss you dearly!
