I was at the bar one night at Uncle Bud's standing next to Smitty He put his arm on my shoulder And said I've known this kids since he was six months old, everybody knew who he was but I never remember meeting him face to face I said Captain I don't think we've ever met And he told me how My parents used to bring They're 59 Impala down To his and Bob's place On Hoosick Street they would leave me see seat put the car up on the lift do an oil change put the car back down and I never woke up he had been watching out for me since I was 6 months old
