Dear Nunez family:
We are saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Nunez. As the long-time neighbor near your family cabin at Woodford Lake, we were always happy to see your family reunions. In the early 1970s, our father had a hip replacement operation that he barely survived. When our mother Helen brought our father back to our house across the street, he passed out in our living room. Our mom ran to get Dr Nunez for help. Our father always said that your dad had saved his life. We are very thankful for that and for your father’s willingness to help a neighbor in need

Q: What was one of the qualities of Edmundo that you loved most?
Our family has lost someone truly special.
Uncle Eddie was the kind of person who is very thoughtful and caring. He gave freely, not just through what he shared, but in how he made his family feel. His quiet strength and warmth left a lasting impression on us.
He reminded us what family means. His care went beyond obligation - it came from love. He would visit his parents in Los Angeles to personally attend to their needs. He would talk to my father's doctor in the Philippines just to check on his health status. We carry that love with us now.
His memory will live in our hearts forever.
We are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort in knowing how deeply Uncle Eddie was loved and appreciated.
