I met Alex about 14 years ago when he came to my door to see if I needed lawn care. Up until this year, he mowed my lawn, did trimming as needed and cleared my driveway of snow. I never made a request of him that he wouldn't graciously take care of. In some snow storms, I would wake up in the morning to find he'd already been at my house in the middle of night to clear my driveway.
What I will miss most is his outgoing personality, his smile, and his above-average work ethic. I viewed him not only as a good worker, but also as a friend.

So sorry to hear of Ole’s passing. It was always great seeing him when Fred and I were at the South End Tavern. He would often swing through our yard and mow when he was in the neighborhood. He and Fred were friends for decades. I’m sure they are chatting over old times now.

Q: How would you describe Alexander to someone who had never met them?
A: Ole was a one of kind person. He would always be there to help anyone who needed it. He was a great friend, father, husband and just a special human being. He will be missed! Rest in peace Ole.
