Obituary of Eleanor Faith "Faye" King

Eleanor Faith “Faye” King, 85, of Lansingburgh, peacefully entered into eternal life in the comfort of her home on Monday, December 29, 2025.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Seth and Eleanor Grannis Smith and was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School.

Faye had been employed at the Millview Adult Home in Waterford and was a former member of the Veteran’s of Lansingburgh Auxiliary.

Beloved mother of Donna Taylor (David Skaarup), Linda Magee (Michael), Diane Hayes, Brenda King and the late Cheryl Harris, sister of the late Seth Smith, also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to Calling Hours on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182

Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in St. John’s Cemetery, Lansingburgh.

Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to the Lansingburgh Boys & Girls Club, 501 Fourth Avenue, Troy, NY 12182, in memory of Eleanor F. “Faye” King.
