Obituary of John I. Willsie

John I. Willsie went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2026 at home in Saratoga Springs.

John was born in Altamont, NY, son of Harry and Louise Lainhart Willsie.  John served in the United States Air Force for six years after graduating from the University of Maryland.  He was a member of the Gideons International and a long- time member of Loudonville Community Church.

John was married to Dorothy (Wood) Willsie for 62 years and is also survived by son, Kevin Willsie (Alyson Morgan), daughter, Kimberley Baker, seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He is also survived by his sister, Janet Noffsinger of Middletown, MD.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Loudonville Community Church, 374 Loudon Road, Loudonville, NY at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon National Cemetery.
