Obituary of Shirley M. Yattaw

Shirley Yattaw (Marriner), 92, of Troy, NY, passed away on February 2^nd, 2026 in Troy, NY.

Shirley was born in Troy, NY and was the daughter of the late Orville G. and Frances Clark Marriner. She was raised and educated in Troy and was a graduate of Troy High School. 

Shirley had been employed with Montgomery Ward’s in Menands, NY and Sunnyside Center in Troy.

She enjoyed walking, window shopping, coffee and conversations at Happy Lunch in Troy, NY

Shirley is survived by her children, Tammy, Tina and Patrick, all of Troy. She is preceded in death by her children, Debbie, Richard and Michael and was also preceded by her siblings, Warren, David, Milton, Orville, William, Richard and Walter Marriner, Ethel Cole and June Cone. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Shirley's wishes, there will be no public calling hours or funeral services.

Interment was held in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182.
