Edward J. Bonneau, Sr., 92, formerly of Clifton Park, beloved husband of the late Dawn Mary Borden Bonneau, peacefully entered into eternal life on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Scotia.

Born in Halfmoon, NY, he was the son of the late Armond and Lena Venn Bonneau and was educated in the Saratoga County public schools.

Mr. Bonneau retired on August 1, 2002 after 50 dedicated years of employment from Zak, Inc. in Green Island where he worked in their estimating and engineering departments.

He had many talents and could build or repair just about anything. He loved music, going on cruises, camping and fishing. He was happiest when he was with his family and friends. He was caring and giving and loved by all who knew him.

Mr. Bonneau had been a member and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Crescent.

Devoted father of Lorie Bonneau (James Baksa), Hollie Hayden (Christopher “Gordo”), Timothy E. Bonneau (Jean), Andrew Bonneau (Linda), the late Edward J. Bonneau, Jr. and the late Loretta Bonneau, loving companion to Carol Horn, brother of Doris Reed (late, Loren), Alice Luther, Theresa Schenk (Walter), Leona Luse (Gerald), the late,  Mary Jane Lee, late Lena Kowalchyk, late Irene Remillard, late Leo Bonneau (late, Elaine), cherished grandfather of Dawn Fish, Darcee Tisko, Kellianne Lam, Monique Bonneau, Ashley Bonneau, Andrew Bonneau, II, Carissa Vrigian, Felicia Marra, Justin Bonneau, Alexander Hayden and Makayla Hayden, also blessed to be survived by many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065 on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon where at 11:30 a.m. the Funeral Service will be held.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Waterford.
