Obituary of Robbie M. Wright

Robbie Marie Wright, 65, of Wynantskill and formerly a longtime resident of Troy, peacefully entered into eternal life on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Samartian Hospital in Troy.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. Wright and the late Eleanor Mae Merrill Hatch Wright. She was a graduate of St. Peter’s Academy in Troy and completed her schooling at Troy High School. While at St. Peter’s she played the bells as a member of the Father Thomas K. Flanagan Marching Band.

Robbie was a dedicated mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She lived and enjoyed life everyday to the fullest. She loved boating, fishing, camping and to travel. In the past year alone, she travelled to Hawaii, Aruba, Bahamas and Louisiana. Hampton Beach, NH and Atlantic City, NJ were places which she also enjoyed visiting and vacationing at.

Robbie was dedicated for over 30 years to the residents at the Van Rensselaer Manor as a CNA.

Devoted mother of Tanya L Wright (Matthew Quinones), loving sister of Jacqueline Hebert, Thomas Wright (MC), James Wright, Sr. (Lori), the late Bonnie M. Beard (Patrick W. “Pat”), the late Sharlene Maldonado (late, James “Jimmy”) and Norman Henderson, also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, their families and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue, (at the corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, New York 12182 on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and also to her Funeral Service the following morning, Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.

Following the Funeral Service, interment will be held in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.

Robbie’s family would like to extend their most sincere appreciation to the staff at Samaritan Hospital

for their  loving care.
