Patricia Anne Eberle, 81 passed away on July 12, 2026. She was born in Schenectady, NY on June 2, 1945 to the late James W. Eberle and Betty Fuller Eberle.

Pat attended Schenectady public schools, graduating from Linton high school. She then attended D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.   After several years of experience in the field, Pat pursued and was granted a Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University, Bronx, NY.

Pat started her career as a caseworker/social worker for Cardinal McCloskey Services (an affiliate agency of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York). She had a rewarding and dynamic 37 year career of progressive achievement, promotions and increased levels of responsibility. At the time of her last position as the Administrative Director of Day Care, She had administrative responsibility for the largest Family Day Care program in the city of New York, encompassing more than 800 children, 600 families, 225 day care providers and staff of 25. More than 20 years after retirement, she continued to use her social work skills as President of the Resident Council at the Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center in Troy.

Pat was predeceased by her brother James A. Eberle. She is survived by her sister Nancy Eberle; nieces Amy Bray (Kevin), Kristen Fuller and Kate Pelosi (Rob); great-niece Christina Panousos (Marshall Gibbs) and great-nephew Christopher Panousos.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Rd., Clifton Park, NY 12065 on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 10:30am. Interment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Schenectady, NY.

The family would like to thank the aides, nurses, therapists, providers and support staff at the Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center for their care and compassion. The family would also like to thank the staff of the Progressive Care and Intensive Care Units and the Palliative Care Department of the Samaritan Hospital and Hospice for their wonderful Care and understanding during a difficult time.
