Cecile Neal, 91 of Congress Street died on Monday April 20, 2020 at Evergreen Commons in East Greenbush after a long illness. She was born on Jan. 17, 1929 in Waterford and was the daughter of the late George and Evelyn Boissonneault. She had worked for the DePaul Provincial House in Menands for 17 years. She was a house wife and homemaker. Cecile enjoyed “Word Search” and was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Waterford. The joy of her life was when she was at family gatherings. She is the wife of the late Herchell Neal who died in Sept. of 2000.
She is the devoted mother of Donna Marie Lee (James) with whom she lived, Linda Strope (Arthur) of Troy, NY, Robert Neal of Waterford, NY, Mary Bellavia (Salvatore) of Schaghticoke, NY, Janelee Ryan of Florida and the late Joanne Wilson (Frank of Lansingburgh); sister of Elma Biddlecome of Ohio; also survived by 13 grand Children, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Due to the limitations of Covid-19, funeral services will be private on Thursday from the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Waterford, NY.
