Obituary
Obituary of Justin Thomas Pariseau
Please share a memory of Justin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Justin (Tommy) came into the world with a beautiful heart that felt deeply. He had a smile and a sense of humor that lit up the room.
From an early age, he experienced traumas that only grew and increased through his life. Schaghticoke NY’s tragic losses of young people beginning in 2009 included many of Tommy’s dear friends. Loss upon loss was a scar that did not heal. His traumas ignited addiction to ease suffering and depression. Despite many courageous healings and rehabilitation's, the world got too heavy and he relapsed and overdosed. Justin (Tommy) was loved endlessly by family and friends. The absence of his essence has forever changed our worlds.
Tommy was unique. A force. He was extremely loyal and fought for who he loved, even to his own detriment. Tommy was very passionate about everything he put his hands on. He befriended everyone in the room and never left a party before everyone knew his name. He shared good advice with others, even if he didn’t take it himself. He held strong convictions about what he believed. He was stubborn and blunt. He would have your back even if he disagreed with you. He had dreams for a simple carefree life someday.
He took pride in and worked hard in construction, painting and roofing. His entrepreneurial spirit and skill led him to the start of his own contracting business, JTP Construction. He loved nature and wildlife, and led a wild life.
Justin was expecting his second child in November, a son. He leaves behind a 5 year old daughter, Scarlett. He also leaves his mother, Stephanie Foy (Simon); father Thomas Pariseau, Jr. (Erica ); brother Scott Pariseau; sister Taylor Weinheimer (Doug); step-brother Stephen Adams, Jr; beloved nieces Sophia and Eloise and nephew Lukas; his Aunt Yvonne Casale (Michael) and cousin Nicole; grandfather Thomas Pariseau, Sr.; Uncle Charles Riccardi (Heather); his partner, Anna Hunter, and many friends.
All the love in the world was not enough. There is nobody to blame but the disease of addiction. And there is no addiction without trauma.
The coronavirus pandemic has compelled Tommy's family to keep his service small and private, keeping in step with today’s social distancing practices. In the future, Tommy's family will announce a public celebration of life when it is safe for everyone to do so.
Be kind; everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.
