Jim was such a sweet man. We played Pickleball with him and he always encouraged his partner as well as his opponents. We also enjoyed seeing him at Kinns Road Park with his little white dog when we walked our little white dog. We will surely miss him.

Grandpa, we created so many great memories and will miss you very much! Holiday visits and trips to Michigan or North Carolina were always cherished. We enjoyed a lot of time together on the golf course as a family. We are so happy you were able to meet your great grandson last month. We love you!

To: The Reinker Family,
Jim and Bernie met while working in the automotive industry in the Detroit, Michigan area. Jim was moving his family from Ohio and mentioned that he and Linda bought a home in our community of Beverly Hills, Michigan. Our families were brought together by the marriage of our daughter, Cindy and their son, John. So, since that time we have shared many enjoyable times together.
Our sympathy is extended to the entire Reinker family on the passing of Jim. He was a great friend, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Blessings and Love,
Bernie and Sharron Ris

I’ve never met a more kind soul. Jim Reinker was a friend to everyone he met. He made a major impact on my life, and I will think of him and Aunt Linda and the memories we made often. I love you both! To Aunt Linda, I love you so much and I’m so sorry for this huge loss. I miss you!" To your children, I’m sorry for the huge hole that I know will be left from such a wonderful light. Me and my family have you all in our prayers. Love Jonathan, Jennifer, James, and Jeremiah.

Jim was in many ways the heart of the Bentley community, welcoming newcomers, making sure to introduce us to many of our neighbors. He and Pepper quickly became "family" and his "well, hello there" when meeting in the hall will be so sorely missed. Jim was the lead planner of the 25 member garden group and he restarted the community dinners to much acclaim. His kindness was legendary. Jim's love for Linda and his family were the heart of his life and he talked of them often. He was so proud to introduce his children and grandchildren to us and we were so honored he wished to share their visits with us. We would like to extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends and assure them Jim will remain in our hearts. What a blessing he was in our lives.
