Obituary of Margaret E. Carr
Margaret E. “Margie” Carr, 91, of Brunswick, peacefully entered into eternal life on Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
Born and educated in Rensselaer, New York, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret E. Campbell Clas and the beloved wife of the late Reginald Carr.
Mrs. Carr was a devoted homemaker and cherished her family which meant everything to her.
Beloved mother of the late Margaret Elizabeth Carr, Reginald Steven Carr, William F. (Suk) Carr, Richard P. (Vonna) Carr, Sandra L. Salisbury, the late Gerry M. Carr, Debora S. (George M.) DuJack, Terry A. (Christine) Carr, Elizabeth (David J.) Dormandy and David M. (Donna) Carr, sister of Delores VanDyk, the late William Clas, the late Mary E. Conway and the late Raymond Clas, also survived by 18 loving grandchildren, 25 adored great grandchildren, 3 cherished great-great grandchildren, aunt to several nieces and nephews and their families, and was anticipating the arrival of 2 additional great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. which will be followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., both at the Church of the Redeemer, 1249 Third St., Rensselaer, NY 12144. Burial will then follow at Garfield Cemetery, in Stephentown, NY.
The Carr family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Community Hospice and to all at the Eddy Heritage House for their loving comfort and care during these extremely difficult times.
