Obituary of Carmen Maria Madera-Ramos

Carmen Maria Madera-Ramos, 67, of Troy, entered into eternal life on Saturday, April 10, 2021.

 

Born in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Luis and Anna Velasquez Madera and was educated in Albany.

 

Carmen retired from the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles on South Swan St for 19 years in Albany where she had been in the Fraud unit as Spanish Translator.

 

She LOVED Karaoke, Bingo, Knitting/Crochet, Arts and Crafts, her children, grandchildren, taking in care of everyone and anyone.

 

Devoted mother of Antonio (Alisha) Morales of Syracuse, Minerva (Frank) Lashway and Aida (Shannon) Aviles both of Troy and Tamara (Brian) Netkin of Las Vegas, NV, sister of Amelia, Lillian, Mirtha, Evelyn, Hilda, Aniada, Tony, Johnnie and Edwin, also survived by numerous adoring grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

 

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182 on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A prayer service will be offered at 6:00 p.m. that evening in the funeral home.
