Obituary of Lewis F. Rose, Jr.
Lewis F. Rose, Jr., 92, of Halfmoon, entered into eternal life on Friday, August 27, 2021 in the loving care and comfort of his home with his two children at his side.
Born in Gloversville, NY, he was the son of the late Lewis and Theressa Perrone Rose and was the beloved husband of the late Marie Caruso Rose. He was a U.S.Army veteran having served in the Korean War from 1950 to 1952.
Mr. Rose retired over 30 years ago from Equifax in Albany where he had been an Insurance Investigator.
He was a member of the Korean War Veterans Association Inc.
Devoted father of Richard G. Rose (Margot) and Beth A. (Vic) Brumaghim, brother of Marion Cavanaugh, and survived by 4 grandchildren.
Private funeral service with military honors will be held Thursday morning at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
