Raymond C. “Flip” Baldwin, 73 of Averill Park passed away surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, November 7, 2021.
Flip was the loving husband to his wife Cathy for over 55 years. In addition to his wife, survivors include his children; Eric (Michele) Baldwin, Ray (Tracy) Baldwin, Cathy (Jay) Smith, and Shane (Shannon) Baldwin, sisters; Nancy Allen and Kathy Keenan and numerous nieces and nephews.
One of his greatest joys in life was being “Poppa” to his grandchildren; John “Bub” Mott (Michaela), Corrine (Jonathan) Hawley, Shane Baldwin, Jr. and Cassie Walsh and “Pop-Pop” to great grandchildren; Lily and Landon Hawley and Madison Mott. Flip’s other lady love was his canine companion, Winnie.
Flip was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He loved baseball and was devoted to his beloved New York Yankees.
A private remembrance gathering will be held on Saturday.
