Obituary of Theresa Anna Fazackerley (Ziccardi)

Theresa Anna Fazackerley (Ziccardi), 95, of Troy, New York, passed away on January 3, 2022 at Samaritan Hospital after a brief illness.  She was the daughter of the late Michael and Lena Ziccardi, and the sister of the late Carmen (Rose) Ziccardi.  Theresa is survived by one niece who she loved, Kimberley Ziccardi.

Theresa was born in Waterford, New York, and loved her home town.  She graduated from Waterford High School in 1944, and had different occupations in Troy throughout the years until she retired at 72 years of age.

At that time, she began to work full time at preaching the Bible's message, which she did faithfully for 12 years.  Theresa was a devoted member of the North Troy Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, and regularly used much of her time to help others benefit from what the Bible teaches.  She will be missed by all of the friends she has made over the years until we see her again.

May we thank the Van Rensselaer Manor staff for all their efforts to make the lives of the residents there as pleasant and as safe as possible.  And we are very grateful to the Samaritan Hospital and the Hospice employees for their skills and the kind help given to their patients who greatly need it.
