Please share a memory of Anthony to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Anthony Peter Manupella, also known as Pete, Tony, Ginzo, 76, passed away at home on August 15, 2022.

Born on January 8, 1946, in Troy, NY, he was the son of the late Anthony Peter Manupella, Sr. and Marguerite Manupella (Ackert).

Pete graduated from Lansingburgh High School in 1964.  He worked as a Mason with a local union and Al-Tech Steel in Watervliet following graduation.  He was the yard manager at STC Construction, in Chesapeake, VA.  However, he proudly spent the majority of his working years as the owner of the Historic Manupella’s Hardware in Lansingburgh, NY until 2007.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son Shane David Manupella.  Pete left behind his wife, Bonita “Bonnie” Manupella, sons Anthony Joseph, Gregory Paul, Ret. CWO3 of 23 years Anthony Peter, III (Donna) of El Cajon, CA, Trisha Marie (John), Active Duty CW04 of 23 years, Dominic Michael (Amanda), five grandchildren; Anthony Peter IV, Vincent James, John Britton IV, Maya Elizabeth and Addison Marie, also a brother David Nicholas (Debbie) of Titusville, FL, and many nieces and nephews.

At Pete’s request, there will be a private cremation and one last trip to the beach where he spent many hours working on his tan and people-watching. If you met Pete, he left a lasting impression, whether good or bad, and he always was busting balls.
