Richard C. Gailor, Jr., 64, of Ballston Avenue passed away peacefully on Tuesday Oct. 18, 2022 at Collar City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pleasantdale after a brief illness.  He was born on Dec. 11, 1957 in Saratoga Springs and was the son of the late Richard C. Gailor, Sr. and Laura Arlene Riddle Gailor.  Richard attended Shenendehowa High School in Clifton Park.  He had been a baker for the Freihofer Baking Co. in Schenectady for many years.  Also, Richard managed the Olde Jonesville Diner in Jonesville for many years where he grew his large garden and split wood.  He enjoyed fishing, watching movies, assembling model cars, gardening and cooking.  He was a member of the catholic faith and was a past member of the Jonesville Fire Department for many years.

He is the beloved father of Richard C. Gailor, III (Samantha), Erin Crivelli (Christopher), Cassie Gailor and Kaitlin Gailor.  He is also survived by his children’s mother, Suzanne P. Myers Gailor; brother of Holly Damiano (Bob) and Thomas Gailor; also survived by 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday Oct. 26, 2022 in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.

A Calling hours will precede the funeral service from 10:30 am till 12 noon on Wednesday in the funeral home.
