I feel incredibly lucky to have known George through his son and my dear friend Don, who no doubt is the wonderful person he is in great part owed to his father. I had the pleasure of visiting George and Olive with Don during a winter trip to Florida many years ago, and I smile ear to ear when I remember dancing to Billy Joel with him, and his great advice on the shuffleboard court. He was such a happy man, and took such pride in his beautiful home and children. The news of his passing is incredibly sad, made better only by knowing he is smiling down on us all. What a joyful person we lost, and one who will be missed immensely by many. My husband and I send our sincerest condolences to the family, and much love to Don during this difficult time.
