Obituary of Patricia E. Coward

Patricia E. Coward, 53, of Royal Oak Dr. passed away peacefully on Thursday May 11, 2023 at Ellis Hospital.  She was born on May 28, 1969 and was the daughter of Katherine Smith Hadsell of Hampton, VA and the late Richard Hadsell.  Tricia received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ashford University and had been a loving housewife and homemaker. Helping kids was her passion, as she was active in the foster care community. Fostering numerous children over the years and adopting several. She would have taken every child in need if it was her choice. She had attended Life Church in Latham. 

 

She is the beloved wife of William J. Coward, Jr., whom she married on Nov. 20, 2004.  She is the devoted mother of Sarah Niblett (Jason), Michael Coward (Michael), Michelle Sawley (Koty), John Hampton (Lindsey) E.J. Coward, Jacob Coward and Andy Coward; sister of Wendy Stokes and Wesley Hadsell.  She is also survived by several her grandchildren Mason, Jameson, Clayton, Selena and Johnathan. She was also a loving foster mother for many children over the years in Albany county.

 

A celebration of her life and calling hours will be on Thursday from 5-7 pm in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, New York 12065.
