NORA A. COALTS
Nora A. Haviland Coalts, 77, of Waterford and formerly of Lansingburgh, peacefully entered into eternal life surrounded by her family on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.
Born and educated in Pawling, New York, she was the daughter of the late Harold C. and Gertrude Brown Haviland, Sr. and the beloved wife of the late Raymond L. Coalts.
Mrs. Coalts had been employed by Folmsbee’s Transportation in Waterford as a Bus Driver. She had previously been employed by ARC and HeadStart.
She enjoyed fishing, fixing things around the house, demolition derbies, eating sweets, playing on her IPad, watching Days of Our Lives and the Voice, and valued & cherished time with her family the most.
Devoted mother of Lynn (Steve) Sherman, Raymond (Connie) Coalts and Gordon (Lauren Hanna) Coalts, also survived by 13 cherished grandchildren, 11 adored great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her two brothers; Harold C. (the late, Patricia H.) Haviland, Jr. and James A. Haviland.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Ave (at the corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182.
Nora’s family would like to express their most sincere thanks to Nicole from Hospice for taking such great care of Mom and to Granddaughter Kayci for helping take great care of Gram.
