Obituary of James A. Klingbeil

James A. “Jimmy” Klingbeil, 61, of Wilton, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.

Born in Niskayuna, he was the son of the late Thomas A. and Margaret C. Hausmann Klingbeil and the beloved husband of the late Patricia Bessey Klingbeil.

Jimmy had been employed at the Wilton Mobile Park (Louden Oaks) in Wilton.

Jimmy was a dedicated member of the Wilton Volunteer Fire Department, loved going to garage sales, fishing, NASCAR, messing around with his kids and grandkids, scrapping, tinkering with things and was an all around Jack-Of-All-Trades.

Devoted father of James A. "Jay” (Crystal) Klingbeil, Jesse J. Klingbeil, Brandy Burnell and stepfather of Lyle (Marlene) Hansen, cherished grandfather of Corbin Klingbeil, Neikolie Klingbeil, (the late Machise Klingbeil and the late Dakota Klingbeil), Kathryn Klingbeil, Grayson Smith, Kharissa Smith and Jerrick Hansen, brother of Carol A. (Phil) Becktoft and Annette M. (Late, Francis) O’Melia, also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Wilton Fire Department, 270  Ballard Rd., Gansevoort, NY 12831

A Memorial Service with a visitation will also be held at a date and time to be announced at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
