Obituary of John K. Dyson

John K. Dyson, 70, of Lansingburgh, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.

Born in Maryland, Mr. Dyson was educated at RPI in Troy and was a member of the Lambda Chapter of Delta Phi fraternity. 

He retired from HVCC in Troy, where he was employed in Computer Technology.

John was a very private man and kept things to himself. He had a positive outlook and loved his neighbors 

He loved his music and playing Bridge on Tuesday or Thursday night.

He is survived by his close friend Tasha Taylor, the Taylor Family, his Fraternity Brothers, Pinkney (Moe) McCleary, the McCleary Family, his neighbors and the members of Positive Image.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182 followed by his Home Going Funeral Service in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be held in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.

The Repass will be held at the American Legion Post 476, 93 Oneida Street, Cohoes, NY 12047 following his burial.
