Ronald E. Wilcox Sr. 78 of Troy NY, beloved husband of the late Gloria Maynard Wilcox passed away on Saturday January 20, 2024.

Ronald was the son of the late Earl Wilcox and Charlotte Bender (Wilcox).

 

He was a professional painter for 40+ years and had worked at the former Best Western in Troy.

 

Ronald loved telling jokes and stories, loved his scratch-off tickets, but most of all, he loved being around his family.

 

Ronald is the devoted father of Pauline Williams (Wilcox), Ronald E. Wilcox, Jr., Austin Wilcox, Linda Wilcox, Charles Wilcox, Tina Wilcox, Paul Wilcox, Sara Cameron (Wilcox), Pamela Richardson (Bass), Judy Flores (Bass), Jackie Wilcox, Terry Bass and Ed Wilcox, Brother of Gertrude Bender, Richard Osgood, Barbara Milton, Charmaine Fisher, Charlotte Osgood, Mabel Dickerson, Aggie Osgood, Don Bender all of Kentucky and Henry Osgood of Troy.He was also predeceased by Earl Wilcox, Edith Wasula, Aggie Decker, Alta Brown, Steve Osgood and Claude Osgood. Also survived by 54 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Ronald is also survived by Teresa Hoag (Bass) the mother to his younger children.

 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 12 Noon to 1:00 P.M. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, NY 12182.
