As I sit here reflecting on the memories we shared, my heart aches with the realization of how deeply I will miss you. Our conversations, our shopping trips (the 3-hour ones, not the 15!), and our adventures to Maryland—they will forever be cherished memories etched in my heart.

I will especially miss your love, kindness, advice, and generosity. Your recent words, "Kandie, I’m so glad you came into my life," touched my heart deeply. But Nana, I'm the lucky one for having you in my life.

I will carry your spirit with me always, knowing you'll watch over me as my guardian angel. Finding comfort in the thought of you reunited in Heaven with your husband, Debbie, and Ray brings solace during this difficult time.

When I was little girl living in Pleasantdale, I attended the same schools as Ronnie & Deb, and we were usually the only "COLORED" kids in our classes. Delores used to encourage me to always do my best. We all grieved together over the loss of Deb. She was always kind, gentle, loving and welcoming. May her spirit rise gently to the heavens to join our ancestors in becoming another Guardian Angel until we join them. We all have a date with destiny that we can not cancel! RIP Cuz

There are so many things within myself that stem from you. I wouldn’t be the woman I am today without your love and guidance (even when at times I was too young minded to see). You’ve been there for every moment of my life and you’ll continue to be (right by my side). I will cherish our countless laughters together over shopping and an all you can eat meal after a hard days work of shopping. You’ll FOREVER be my NANA and I’ll FOREVER be your Tweety Bird!
