Obituary of Jayshree Nitin Shah

Jayshree Nitin Shah, 60, of Heritage Pointe Dr. passed over on Tuesday Sept. 17, 2024 at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany.  She was born on Oct. 27, 1963 in Chikhli, Gujarat Valsad India and was the daughter of the late Kantilal and Chandrikaben Mehta. Jayshree was educated in India and received her Master’s degree in Zoology from M S University in Baroda, India.  She came to the United States in 2016.

She is the beloved wife of Nitin Shah, whom she married on Feb. 5, 1990; devoted mother of Niyati Shah (Maulik) of Los Gatos, CA and Nirva Shah of Clifton Park, NY; cherished grandmother of Anika Shah; sister of Heena Kapadia of India; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday Sept. 18, 2024 at the Gardner Earl Chapel at Oakwood Cemetery, 186 Oakwood Avenue, Troy, NY 12182 from 2:30 – 4:00 pm.
