Keith F. Della Volpe, 69, of Chester Shores at Loon Lake passed away peacefully on Sunday Jan. 12, 2025 at the Albany Medical Center Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on Nov. 26, 1955 in Jersey City, NJ and was the son of the late Frank and Dolores Ciccarelli Della Volpe. Keith was a graduate of Westwood High School in Westwood, NJ, class of 1974. He had been the manager of Cork & Keg store in Emerson, NJ for 28 years.

While in New Jersey, Keith volunteered his time as a firefighter for New Milford and Emerson Fire Departments for over 25 years. He was an avid fan of cheering on his kids and grandkids at their sporting events. After retiring, Keith and his wife moved to the Adirondacks where he enjoyed spending time on his boat with a cocktail and a cigar. He also enjoyed spending time on the beach at Loon Lake talking with friends and watching his grandchildren play.

He was the beloved husband of Laura M. Bellmer Della Volpe, whom he married on May 20, 1979.

He is the devoted father of Bryan K. Della Volpe (Kylee), Justin C. Della Volpe (Kim) and Amy R. Kruithof (Dennis); cherished grandfather of Sofia, Isabel, Colin, Madison Chloe and Lilah; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held in the summer at Chester Shores, his favorite place, at a time and date to be announced.

His funeral service is private per Keith’s wishes. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.
