Richard “Ricky” Stein, 77, of Main Street in Jonesville and formerly of Grooms Road in Clifton Park, peacefully entered into eternal life on Sunday, January 19, 2025.

Born in Bronxville, New York, he was the son of the late Arthur J. and Inga T. Roller Stein, Sr.

Ricky’s nickname is the “Mayor” at his day program. He loved being surrounded and in the company of his family and friends.

Ricky is the cherished brother of Arthur J. Stein, Jr. and Linda A. (John) Watters, loving Uncle to Dani (Brent) Roberts, Jason Stein, and Rebecca Pezzano, adored Great Uncle to Kalyn and Mia Pezzano and to Brody and Tanner Roberts, also survived by many good friends from his home and program.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather for the Celebration of Ricky’s Life on Friday, January 31, 2025 at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065 from 3 to 5 p.m. with his Funeral Service beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Inurnment will be held at a later date in Memory’s Garden, Colonie.

Ricky immensely loved animals, children and Christmas and it is asked that those desiring, make memorial contributions to the Mohawk-Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave, Menands, NY 12204, or to the Empty Stocking Project, c/o Saratoga County Children’s Committee, Inc., P.O. Box 1254, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866, in memory of Richard “Ricky” Stein.
