Patrick J. "Pat" Case, 89, of Sycaway, beloved husband of over 67 years of Josephine A. “Juice” Muscatello of Troy, peacefully entered into eternal life at home in the loving care of his family on Saturday, August 19, 2017.

Born and raised in Troy, he was the son of the late Frederick and Theresa Parella Case and was a graduate of Troy High School, Class of 1946.

Mr. Case retired after 17 years of employment with Rensselaer County where he greeted everyone daily who worked in the Rensselaer County Courthouse and the County Clerk Annex Building as a parking lot attendant, which he loved. He also enjoyed delivering meals for Meals on Wheels for many years to those who were in need. For 47 years, Pat Owned and Operated Dino's Restaurant in Wynantskill. Prior to Dino's, he had been the co-owner and operator of the J & L Diner in Troy.

Pat was a standout athlete and was inducted into Edward C. Picken Troy High School Athletic Hall of Fame for his athletic prowess. He was an avid golfer and cherished the times he spent while being a former member of the Country Club of Troy, was an avid New York Yankees fan and a communicant of Our Lady of Victory Church.

Beloved husband of 67 years of Josephine “Juice”, who he married on January 14, 1950 after over four years of dating, devoted father of Frederick A. (Eileen) Case of Troy, Patrick J. (Lisa) Case, Jr. of Rotterdam, Edie (Don) Miller and Jim Case, both of Troy, loving brother of Constance Ligato of Troy, Frederick (Angela) Case of Coral Springs, FL and the late Anthony (Nancy of Troy) Case, cherished grandfather of Donny (Shannen) Miller, Tricia (Bob) Facto, Louis Case, Michael (Lisa) Case, Patrick J. "PJ" (Shawnna) Case, III, Robert (Nicole) Case and Courtney Case, also survived by 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at  Our Lady of Victory Church, 55 North Lake Avenue (at the corner of Marshland Ct), Troy, NY 12180 and to the Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Victory Church on Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m., which will be celebrated by Pat's nephew, Fr. Anthony Ligato

Interment will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy.

Pat's family would like to offer their sincere gratitude to his daughter-in-law Eileen, who was his special caregiver and angel for which they will be always grateful.
