Liam McGlinchey, 19, of Rolling Brook Drive and formerly of Ireland died suddenly on Friday August 25, 2017 at his residence.  He was born in New York City on April 14, 1998 and was the beloved son of Thomas JosephMcGlinchey and Helen Ruth Savastio McGlinchey.  He had worked on the family farm in Ireland as a turf cutter before coming to the United States this year.  He had been a warehouse worker for the Hanaford Supermarket in Clifton Park.  Liam was Catholic and enjoyed spending time with the family.

Survivors in addition to his mom and dad include his brother, Leo McGlinchey and his sister Charlotte McGlinchey, two grandmothers Ruth Savastio and Mary McGlinchey.  He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral will be held  Thursday at 7:30 p.m. the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 in Clifton Park, NY 12065.

Calling hours will be from 5 p.m.-8:00 p.m.in the funeral home.

Interment will be in Ireland.
