Obituary of Christopher J. Scepkowski

Christopher J. Scepkowski, 52, of Robbinsville, New Jersey, formerly of Schenectady, NY, entered into eternal life on Friday, September 15, 2017, at his residence. Chris was born in Rhienhiem, Germany on March 26, 1964, the son of Linda Cox and the late Richard J. Scepkowski. He was educated in Schenectady schools and was employed by the former White Bear Equipment in Albany. Chris moved to New Jersey and worked at Hibbert Co. as a warehouse supervisor. Chris was a life member of Holy Name of Jesus Polish National Catholic Church and St. George’s Lodge #6 Free and Accepted Masons and was a 32° Mason, member of the Royal Arch Masons. Chris was a member of the Oriental Shriner's and the Schenectady Shrine Club. Chris was a very loving and caring man to which his family meant everything. Chris enjoyed cooking for his family and putting on all sorts of family functions. In addition to his mother, Linda Cox Alden; survivors include his son’s mother, Dawn MacGregor; his loving son, Christopher R. Scepkowski (Jenna Truelove); his precious granddaughter, Olivia Scepkowski; his sisters, Cathy Nagel (Conrad), Deborah Gabriel (Paul), Cynthia Gonzalez (Joe); his brothers, Curtis S. Scepkowski (Victoria Thibodeau), John Linscott (Michelle Powell); his stepson, Tyrone Cassetta Sr. (Kate Shand); step grandchildren, Ashley and Tyrone Cassetta; sistersin-law, Robin Scepkowski and Michelle Scepkowski. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Chris was predeceased by his companion, Sharon Sennett; his father, Richard; his brothers, Rit Richard Scepkowski, Robert Scepkowski. A celebration of Chris’s life will be held on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 9, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
