Obituary of Robert Chester Golini

Robert Chester Golini, 68, Casablanca Court, died on Thursday Sept. 14, 2017 at the Saratoga Center for Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing in Ballston Spa.  He was born in Astoria, Queens on Feb. 19, 1949 and was the son of the late Umberto and Marie Riebling Golini.  Robert retired from TWA/United Airlines at JFK Airport where he had been a baggage handler.  He loved to travel to the western Unites States, especially Colorado and Wyoming.  He enjoyed the stock market and also traveling to Florida for many family vacations.  Being with his family meant the world to him at holiday time.  He now is reunited with his canine companion “Escobar”.

He is the beloved husband of Antoinette Gatto Golini, whom he married on Oct. 10, 1970.  He is the devoted father of Kenneth (Dawn) Golini of Mass. and Alison (David) Noakes of Clifton Park; brother of Peter (Nancy) Golini of Queens, NY; grandfather of Carmine, Everett, Gianni, Evelyn, Anthony and Easton; also survived by 5 nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be Monday at 11:00 am at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna.  Family and friends will gather at the main entrance at 10:45. 

Calling hours will be from 3-5 pm Sunday in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 in Clifton Park, New York 12065.
