Obituary of Linda A. Ohler

Linda A. Ohler, 57, of Lansingburgh, peacefully entered into eternal life at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, October 24, 2017.
Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Warren Green and the late Eleanor Daven Green St. Gelais. She was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School, Class of 1978 and was the high-school sweetheart of William F. "Bill" Ohler, Jr. for 40 years.
Linda was loved by all of her customers and co-workers at Bella Napoli Bakery on River Street in Troy where she was employed. She had previously been employed in the Dietary Department at Samaritan Hospital in Troy.
She was a member of the ATAC (All Troy Athletic Club) in Lansingburgh, loved watching TV and had been a communicant of St. Augustine's Church in Lansingburgh.
Linda is the beloved wife of William F. "Bill" Ohler, Jr. of Lansingburgh who she married on February 11, 1999, devoted mother of Amy Ohler of Lansingburgh and the late Nicole M. Ohler, cherished grandmother of Gianna Scott of Lansingburgh, daughter-in-law of Teresa Muckle Ohler of Lansingburgh, sister of Warren Green (Ralph) and Michelle Green Davies (Matt), sister-in-law of Jeannine Ohler, Stacy and John Ohler and is the loving Aunt of Jessica Langdon and Amber Ohler. Linda is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and her many friends.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Augustine's Church in Lansingburgh ( 25-115th Street, Troy, NY 12182).
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115th St. in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182 on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
The Ohler family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to Linda's caregivers at the Albany Medical Center Oncology Department as well as to Community Hospice of Rensselaer for their loving and compassionate care.
