Obituary of Edna M. Jolicoeur

Edna M. Jolicoeur, 87, of Lansingburgh, entered into eternal life on Thursday, January 11, 2018.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Julia Fazzone Jones and the beloved wife of 59 years of Albert J. Jolicoeur, Jr., until his passing on June 6, 2013. She was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School.

Mrs. Jolicoeur retired from Gardenway in Troy and was previously employed at Cluett, Peabody & Co. in Troy.

Mrs. Jolicoeur had been a Girls Scout leader for many years, served as Waterford PTA Treasurer and was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Waterford.

Devoted mother of  Michelle Dahl (Greg) of Rockford, IL and Paul Jolicoeur (Maria Cairns) of Lansingburgh, sister of Dorothy Whinnery (the late, Ed) of Schaghticoke, grandmother of Ryan Feeney of Raleigh, NC, Rachel Crawford (TJ) of Milwaukee, WI and Erica Skaar (Joshua) of Poplar Grove, IL, great grandmother of Mackenzie, Tanner and Samantha Feeney, all of Raleigh, NC and Luella Skaar of Poplar Grove, IL, also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was eagerly anticipating the birth of her fifth great grandchild, Yvonne.

Funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. from the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182, thence to St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 119 Broad St., Waterford, NY 12188 where at 10:00 a.m. the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Interment will be held in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
