Obituary of Sandra Andrew Dyer

     Sandra Andrew Dyer, RN, 76, of Eaton Court died on Saturday Feb. 24, 2018       at her residence with her dear friend Donna by her side.   She was born in Newcomb, NY on March 30, 1941 and was the daughter of the late John and Louisa Sanzone Andrew.  She was a graduate of Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing. Sandra had worked as an RN for the Samaritan Hospital in Troy, Glens Falls Hospital and Fox Chase Cancer Center, clinical research unit in PA.  Her entire career in nursing was devoted to oncology.  She retired from full time work in phone triage at Fox Chase Cancer Center in 2006.  She continued working part time until the age of 70.  She was a former longtime communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Valley Falls, NY and currently was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church in Penndel, PA.  She had a great love for reading, traveling and going to Tea during her retirement years. 

     She is the beloved mother of Sean P. Dyer of Troy, NY, Joseph A. Dyer and Carrie L. Percell, both of Bensalem, PA; dear sister of  Mayor Richard J. (Marie) Andrew of Valley Falls, NY, Theresa M. Andrew of Valley Falls and Chestertown, NY and the late John J. Andrew; dear friend of Donna Hauer of Langhorne, PA, Carl Ackley of Cambridge, NY and Pam Farland of  Langhorne, PA; cherished grandmother of Joseph A. Dyer, Jr., Theresa M. Dyer, Alyssa Ralston, Kelly Ralston, Shannon Dyer and Maxwell Percell, all of Bensalem, PA; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

     A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of Grace Church, 225 Bellevue Ave. Penndel, PA 19047 on Thursday at 9:30 am where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
