Obituary of Stephen G. Evans

Clifton Park, New York

Stephen Gary Evans passed away on Monday, February 26th., 2018 after a short illness. Stephen was born in Ballston Spa, New York on February 2nd 1963.  He went to Shenendehowa High School and graduated with a degree in Culinary Arts from Schenectady Community College.  During his career, Stephen worked at various fine dining institutes across the Capitol Region and most recently was a Chef at CDPHP.  Steve was an avid camper, spending a part of every summer of his life at Roger’s Rock Campground at Lake George, New York.  He loved his NY Ranger’s, NASCAR racing, good restaurants, great music, what nature has to offer, and his dogs Chloe and Roxy. 

Most of all, he loved, adored and is survived by his soulmate and wife of 27 years, Rosemary (Rory) Tierney Evans.  Steve is also survived by his stepsons, Matthew (Christine), Michael and Chris, step daughter Cassandra, brother in law Billy mother Carolyn Evans, brothers Mike and Gary (Kim) and sister Judith Burbank (Dean).

Calling hours are 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home 1550 Route 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.   A celebration of life will be celebrated at 5:30 p.m.
