Obituary of Donald L. Finney

Donald Lee Finney, 75, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at Albany Medical Center. Donald was born in Wheeling West Virginia on November 26, 1942, the son of the late Leamon and Lillian Straus Finney.  He was a graduate of Wheeling University and later graduated with a Masters Degree in Marketing from Babson College.

Donald was employed as a Marketing Development Manager at General Electric Silicones in Waterford for 30 years until retiring.  He also worked for the Small Business Administration and was Chairman for the local SCORE office.

He was a communicant of St. Edward the Confessor Church in Clifton Park and he also played in The Town of Colonie Dance Band.

Most of all, he loved, adored and is survived by his wife Pauline Contoir Finney whom he married on April 12, 1968.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Church 569 Clifton Park Center Road, Clifton Park, NY 12065.

Calling hours are 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.  Entombment will be in Texas.
