Obituary of Donald F. DeVoe

Stillwater - Donald F. DeVoe, Sr., 72, passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday April 1, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Rotterdam, he is the son of the late Henry and Marguerite DeVoe.

Donald proudly served in The United States Marine Corps. during the Vietnam War. He worked for many years at the Saratoga County Department of Public Works. Donald truly loved the outdoors and would often be found fishing, hunting or riding his Harley.

Donald is survived by his children, Donald F. DeVoe, Jr. and Melissa (David Spalding) DeVoe; his brother, Robert DeVoe; and his feline friends, Dusty, Twiggy and Winnie. He was predeceased by his sister, Loretta and his beloved wife, Gloria A. DeVoe.

Funeral services for Donald will be held on Thursday April 5th at 7:00 p.m. at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 9 Clifton Park. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home prior to the service from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
