Kenneth H. “Ken” Hover, 66, of Circle Lane, Crescent Gardens, beloved husband of over 40 years to Joan-Alice Perry Hover of Halfmoon, peacefully entered into eternal life surrounded by his familoy on Sunday, January 6, 2019, in the comfort of his home.

 

Born in Troy, NY, he was raised inTroy and Snyder’s Lake and was the son of the late Floyd and Florence LaBough Hover and a graduate of Averill Park High School.

 

Ken as he was affectionately known, was a Security Guard at All-Safe Security in Albany and made a career in public safety as a Security Officer in New York City as well as locally for many years.

 

Ken loved to watch television, do puzzles and play on-line games.

 

Beloved husband since their marriage on May 27, 1978 to Joan-Alice of Halfmoon, devoted father of Amanda (Marc) Hayes of Gloversville, NY, cherished “Poppy” of Dylan Hover and Michelena Hayes, brother of Laura Hover and the late LeRoy and Bruce Hover, brother-in-law of Ernie (Debby) Perry and Robert (Patty) Perry, also survived by several nieces and nephews and the family feline companion, Miss. Cuddles.

 

Private funeral arrangements for the family were held and have been entrusted to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065. Phone (518) 371-5454
