Obituary of Pamela J. Sabari

Pamela J. Sabari, 67, of Rexford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 20th, 2019. 

Born in Staten Island, New York, she was the daughter of the Joseph Comiskey of Saratoga Springs and the late Marie Ehlers Comiskey. She was a graduate of Bay Shore High School and earned her BA in Anthropology and Linguistics from SUNY Albany.  To compliment her graduate studies, Pamela traveled to Jerusalem with her oldest son to study Hebrew and Jewish culture. After her return, Pamela worked for ARC and NY State. She was well loved by her special needs clients. Pamela was an avid reader, Scrabble player, binge watcher, and enjoyed the company of her friends at Meadowview Community. Pamela loved to crochet, knit, and do arts & crafts and all animals – especially furry ones. She also loved the time while volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and also with Rensselaer County Meals on Wheels. In addition to being survived by her father Joseph, she is the devoted Imma of Emek Clemente and Amichai Sabari, cherished Savta of Ayla and Willow Clemente, loving sister of Anne Comiskey (Felix Archambeault) and Raymond Comiskey (Frances Munn), loving aunt to Amber Comiskey (Shawn Murray), Galen Archambeault, Dylan Miller, Colin Murray and Finnoula Murray. Awesome care giver and companion to Sophie. Also, she is survived by several nieces and nephews.

A gathering, to celebrate Pamela’s life, will be held on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Gordon C, Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 9, Clifton Park, NY, 12065.

Her family would like to thank the nurses of Living Resources, especially Lynn, for their dedicated and selfless home care.
