Obituary of Kathy E. Murray

Kathy E. Murray, 66, of Troy, beloved wife of 38 years to Christopher A. “Chris” Murray of Troy, peacefully entered into eternal life in the comfort and care of her family and Community Hospice at Samaritan Hospital on Saturday, September 14, 2019.

Born and educated in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Dorothy R.  Lee Taylor.

Kathy was a homemaker and most enjoyed spending time with her husband, children,  grandchildren, great grandchildren and their families. She also enjoyed watching her favorite Soap Operas and playing computer games.

Beloved wife of Chris, devoted mother of Margaret Taylor, Rebecca (Richard) Sherlock, Roberta Taylor and Charles Taylor, sister of Charlene Taylor, Margaret Taylor, Genell (William) Baker and the late Bruce Taylor, cherished “Grandma” of Shanna Rosseau, Buddy Taylor, Annie Taylor, Erica Rosseau, Tracy Taylor, Cassie Taylor, Elisa Rosseau, Kaytlynn Rosseau and Todd Michael Seror,Jr., "Great Grandma” of Catherine Taylor, Amarie Taylor and Rnesmay Perez, also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and to the funeral service which will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning, both at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, NY 12182.

Interment will be in held in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.
